This is a very special recipe from my mum’s recipes.. which she learnt from her aunt. Growing up this was one of my favorites (and I was a very picky eater! ), and still is.. My kids love it too.. Its Koftay (meatballs) with a twist.

Other Ingredients:
- 2 Potatoes (small – cut in one inch cubes)
- 2 tbsp Oil

Directions:
- Put all the ingredients (No 1) in a chopper and finely chop all. Then make small meat balls ( about an inch size) to fry.
2. Liquidize all the ingredients (No. 2) and make a fine paste.
3. Fry the meat balls (on low heat) in a frying pan in about 1 tbsp of oil till they turn golden brown.
4. In a pot, take 1 tbsp of oil and sauté the potatoes with the ginger and garlic pate for a few minutes and then add the meat balls to it. Fry for a few minutes and the add the green chatnee paste (we made in step 2) and bring to boil. Let it simmer (covered) on low heat till the potatoes and meatballs are cooked and the gravy is the right consistency.
Enjoy it with Naan or Khubs (Arabic flat bread). Give it a try and let me know how it turned out!
Bubye till then!
